MOMIS

Mediator EnvirOnment for Multiple Information Sources

MOMIS is an open source tool capable of aggregating semi-automatically information from heterogeneous data sources, both structured (e.g., databases) and semi-structured (e.g., spreadsheets, json, xml), as well as Big Data and Open Data. In doing so new information is generated from existing and apparently unrelated data. Finding relationships among the information source schemas is made possible by exploiting the semantics within the source data and by using clustering techniques as well as inferences based on description logics.

MOMIS is a tool that supports and facilitates the work of the designer, guiding him in the integration process and contributing decisively to enhancing company data, optimizing decision-making processes, and reducing both time and costs of the integration process.

The automation of the data integration process is made possible by exploiting Semantics and by applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques.
