On the 16th of June 2017 at IRST IRCCS in Meldola (Italy), Mirko Orsini and Enrico Calanchi of DataRiver will participate to the 1st Clinical Research Coordinator Basic Course (click here for the entire programme) with a lecture on quality and compliance in data collection. The course is organised by Gruppo Italiano Data Manager in collaboration with  Servizio Sanitario Regionale Emilia Romagna and  Istituto Scientifico Romagnolo per lo Studio e la Cura dei Tumori.

The course is born out of the ever-growing number of positions involved in clinical trial management and of the constantly increasing degree of specialization required. Unsurprisingly, next to the experimenter, we come to see on a daily basis the figure of the Clinical Research Coordinator, whose expertise is inevitably built on the field instead of on a specific formal education. For this reason GIDM has organised the first course for CRC to provide the basic elements of the daily activities of this emerging profession.
