DataRiver announces the release 1.0 of the Open Source version of the MOMIS Data Integration system
The 1.0 release includes all the functionalities to aggregate data coming from heterogeneous data sources (MySQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access (ODBC), MS Excel files (ODBC), other ODBC data sources) in a semi-automatic way, by exploiting data sources metadata and lexical annotation w.r.t Wordnet. The annotation process has been extended with an automatic annotation tool enabling the users to extend the Wordnet with new terms (and meanings) on the basis of their domain knowledge.
MOMIS 1.0 is freely available for download after the https://www.datariver.it/data-integration/momis/download/ to the DataRiver website.
A set of videos are available in the download section to demonstrate the functionalities of the MOMIS system showing all the integration process phases.
