During the event, DataRiver’s contribution to the POWOPS project will showcase specifically the development of a cloud-native, software-as-a-service platform for the manufacturing sector. This project involved numerous partners, including SACMI, IPREL, Bonfiglioli, Imola Informatica, Marposs, and SECO, in collaboration with Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. The platform aims to make the development of industrial applications more agile and efficient in managing the production processes, enabling applications to be easily transferable between Edge and Cloud environments, while ensuring security and scalability.

The project, funded by the I3-2021-INV1 (Innovation investments Strand 1) call promoted by the European Commission, aims to address several crucials challenges for European companies competitive on the global market, to improve their experience in data analysis, artificial intelligence, 5G and IoT.

The AMBITIOUS project is focused on the security issue (surveillance and monitoring), on the intelligent water management, precision agriculture and innovative digital health and well-being services, and, at the same time, aims to improve the competence and the attractiveness of European SMEs.

DataRiver will take care, in collaboration with the other partners, to develop a technological infrastructure capable of providing advanced data aggregation, analysis and forecasts with the use of artificial intelligence and implementing secure mechanisms for exchanging information also collected through the use of digital tools to improve patient engagement and support.
